• A personal computer (PC) is a multi-purpose computer designed for individual use. PCs are relatively inexpensive and easy to operate.

• The main components of a PC are:
- Case: The enclosure that houses the other components of the PC.
- Power supply: Converts mains AC to low-voltage DC power for the internal components of a computer.
- Motherboard: The main circuit board that connects all the other components. It allows communication between the CPU, RAM, and all other hardware components.
